BComplex including VitaminB12 should also be supplemented to prevent anemia and neuropathy in elderly.
Weakness from anemia, inability to feel or pain from neuropathy are risks for unsteady gait and falling.
BComplex is also important for people identifying as women, getting hormonal contraceptives from a pharmacist according to the standing order in NYS.
Prevention of anemia, neuropathy, depression in this cohort will prevent aging, metabolic and CVD and future medication costs; because hormonal contraceptives require methylation, methyl groups and B vitamins to process and detoxify.
Follow the prescription data: how many consumers of hormonal contraceptives over the past 10 years later needed psych meds, neuropathy meds, meds for cvd ?
Supplementing every person is an investment in preventing chronic disease and aging that we could document in 30 years by prospectively following prescription payment data through the NYS Department of Financial Services.
All insurances should be required to level the playing field and pay for VitaminD3 and BComplex for every one that breathes. This is real chronic disease prevention.

If patients, clients or customers consume acid blockers or any medication or otc product that inhibits oral PO GI absorption of VitaminB12 and B Complex, please recommend a sublingual product or a liquid product to be applied topically on the feet, jaw bone or inside the cheek.
Topical patches may be applied to skin without hair daily; remove after 8-12 hours or leave up to 24 hours as needed.
Use alternative dosage forms, alternative routes of administration to facilitate absorption of VitaminD3 and Bcomplex in achlorhydria.
